Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I had read a story in the news that the iconic brand was going to be making a change to their label. Out of nostalgia, I opted to photograph this soupcan as part of a film test for an upcoming job. I had been using this particular can for years on my workbench as a pencil holder, and it worked quite well, none of the pencils ever fell out of the can!
When I look back at the situation, I think it was a marketing stunt because it wasn't long after their announcement of a change of label, that the original cans were back on the shelf, and still are to this day. -YoPedro
